Cervical Spondylosis

A form of arthritis in which the vertebrae of the neck grow extra bone and start to press upon adjacent nerves, causing a stiff and painful neck, and tingling sensations, numbness, pins and needles, or pain in the hands and legs of one or both sides of the body, and sometimes Headache, double vision, and Dizziness or unsteadiness when neck is turned in certain directions.

Homeopathic treatment is the same as that for Osteoarthritis, but the remedies below are also helpful.

Specific remedies to be taken 4 times daily for up to 14 days

  • Headache behind forehead, limbs numb, flatulence Argentum nit. 6c
  • Tenderness at back of neck (over backward-pointing spines of neck vertebrae), chest feels constricted, person weak and shaky Agaricus 6c
  • Shooting pains up spine and into head, burning sensation in spine Picric ac. 6c
