Clumsiness

Poor coordination and accident-proneness may be due to AnxietyLack of Confidence, lack of concentration, immaturity of the nervous system, effects of orthodox drugs or addiction to recreational drugs or alcohol, neurological or muscular disorders (usually associated with headaches and general unwellness), and in rare cases to cerebral palsy or bismuth poisoning.

Specific remedies to be taken 4 times daily for up to 14 days

  • Poor coordination, child oversensitive and inclined to burst into tears if someone else is hurt Causticum 6c
  • Poor coordination, child lacks self-confidence and tries to attract attention by doing outrageous things Lycopodium 6c
  • Poor coordination, child overweight, with a chilly skin and sweaty head Calcarea 6c

Self-help: Clumsy children often benefit from some form of disciplined exercise - judo, dancing, etc. If clumsiness is the result of showing off, show that you are not impressed; quietly point out the risk of injury to the child and to others.
