Blushing

Increased blood flow to face, ears, neck, etc. accompanying shame, embarrassment, and other thoughts/emotions which the blusher would prefer to hide; usually a passing phase, often linked with sexual inexperience or insecurity, and with emotional problems generally. Homeopathic constitutional treatment is recommended if blushing is part of a wider picture; if not, the remedies below may help.

Specific remedies to be taken as required for up to 10 doses

  • Face normally pale, personality outgoing and rather excitable, fear of thunder and the dark Phosphorus 30c
  • Where person is fair-haired, timid, cries easily, craves affection, and dislikes hot stuffy rooms Pulsatilla 30c
  • Blushing causes faintness, especially if person has tendency to become anaemic Ferrum phos. 30c
