Eye Injury

Most eye injuries are caused by foreign bodies becoming lodged in the eye, or by blows to the eye or nose. If the eye has been cut or perforated, or it you suspect fragments of metal, grit, or glass may be embedded in it, contact Emergency Medical Services, give First Aid, and tell the person not to move his or her good eye, as the injured eye will inevitably move with it. Very prompt First Aid is necessary if corrosive chemicals enter the eyes. If, after a blow to the eye, the person cannot see properly or complains of plan, consult your doctor if there is no improvement in 2 hours and give one of the rescue remedies listed below.
Specific remedies to be taken every 5-10 minutes for up to 10 doses in emergency
- Arnica 30c
- Injury caused by a blunt object, pain felt deep in eyeball Symphytum 30c
- If pain persists after treatment from medical doctor Hypericum 30c
- If Hypericum does not ease pain Aconite 30c
