This remedy is made from potassium tartrate of antimony, also known as tartar emetic, which is both an irritant, causing excessive production of phlegm, and a depressant.
Constitutional Indications
Antimonium tart. is most beneficial to the very old and very young, and to people who are too weak to cough up phlegm.
