School Phobia

Child dreads going to school. May be due to factors at home or at school, with negative emotions translating themselves into HeadacheAbdominal PainNausea and Vomiting, and Fainting. Symptoms usually worse on weekday mornings, better at weekends and during vacations. If there is tension in family, child may feel he or she needs to stay at home to prevent something terrible happening. For a child who feels insecure and lacks self-confidence, home is the safest place to be.

Problems at school can be very real - difficulty with school work, fear of teachers, teasing, bullying, poor relationships with other children - and should not be ignored. Talk to both child and teachers to find cause. Constitutional homeopathic treatment may improve matters.
