Bladder Tumours

see also Cancer

Warty or cauliflower-like growths in bladder lining, benign or malignant thought to be associated with protein-rich Western diet, which leads to high level of L-leucine (an amino acid) in blood. If tumour blocks ureter, urine may be forced back into kidney causing a condition known as hydronephrosis, or acute Pyelonephritis; because of tumour, bladder may also be more vulnerable to Cystitis. Symptoms are blood in urine, Painful UrinationFrequent Urination, and perhaps pain in kidney area.
