Meniere`s Disease

Increased pressure of fluid in inner ear upsets balance mechanism, causing Dizziness (everything spinning round), and Nausea & Vomiting. Hearing may also be affected. In bad cases, muffled hearing and noises in the ear persist between attacks. If Meniere's Disease is confirmed by your medical doctor, constitutional treatment should be sought.

Specific remedies to be taken 4 times daily for up to 7 hours (see also remedies listed under Labyrinthitis)

  • Dizziness and muffled hearing Salicylic ac. 30c, followed by Chininum sulph. 30c in same dosage
  • If attack begins on waking Lachesis 30c

Self-help: Cut down intake of fluids and salt, and stop smoking. In acute attacks, rest quietly in bed.
