Brucellosis

A viral infection caught from infected milk, and also from infected animals; symptoms are similar to those of Influenza and last about 2 weeks, though more severe illness may develop and last for several months. If condition is suspected, consult your doctor if there is no improvement in 12 hours. In Britain pasteurized cow's milk is brucellosis-free; if you are unsure whether goat's milk, sheep's milk, etc. has been pasteurized, boil it for 2 minutes before using. Constitutional homeopathic treatment is recommended in addition to antibiotics or steroids.
