Roseola Infantum
|
Virus infection of children aged between six months and three years. Incubation period variable. Symptoms are high Fever; followed by swollen neck glands and pink rash on trunk, lasting for about a week. Child remains infectious for 5 days after onset of fever.
Specific remedies to be given every 4 hours for up to 10 doses
- High temperature, eyes staring, child delirious, neck glands tender Belladonna 30c
- Child tearful, clinging, not thirsty craves fresh air Pulsatilla 30c
- Swollen glands, ear pains on swallowing, symptoms alleviated by cold drinks Phytolacca 30c
