Found in bones and in all cells, especially those of the nervous system. Deficiency may result in muscle weakness and Anaemia.
Foods rich in Calcium and protein
Rarely necessary as this mineral is widespread in foods.
Should be equal to calcium intake (measured in mmols)
None known unless large doses lead to increased requirements of Calcium and Magnesium.
